Dawg Squad (All year)
The Dawg Squad makes a positive difference in the halls at Northwood. Over the last 8 years dozen of parents have volunteered as Dawg Squad members to be in the halls before school and during lunch. Once trained, you can come as often or as little as you want. Adult presence always adds a calming effect to our halls, and we appreciate any time you can give.
Training consists of a 20-minute overview with Mr. Stenersen, and the completing of the Washington State Patrol volunteer form (don't forget your driver's license). Each Dawg Squad member will be issued a Dawg Tag to wear while at the school. Dawg Tags and the sign-up sheet are housed in the Dawg Pound in our Commons.

Fund Run Volunteers (in September)
We need help counting money, re-counting money, filling out forms and getting students the correct items they earn. It's a busy time, usually taking a couple of hours (more on the first few days). It's also fun and a great way to meet other parents at the school. Last year's Fund Run brought in over $45,000 for student activities for Northwood, and would not have been possible without the efforts of volunteers.
